Ripple (XRP) CTO David Schwartz mocked the Shiba Inu (SHIB) on Twitter.
Schwartz, who is known as the name behind the XRP Ledger, mocked the huge supply of SHIB and said that losing a zillion SHIB tokens would mean a loss of $1.37.
Shiba Inu is known to have a supply of 1 quintillion tokens.
Shortly after the token’s launch, the token’s creator, Ryoshi, gifted half of the supply to Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin. Buterin donated 50 trillion SHIB tokens to various charities. At the time Buterin donated, the tokens were valued at $1.14 billion.
Schwartz’s joke has angered the #ShibArmy members, who continue to grow every day. Community member studied the anemic performance of XRP.
As it is known, XRP continues to trade 75% below the ATH level. It is seen as one of the few major cryptocurrencies that failed to reach the ATH level during the current market cycle.
Even though the Shiba Inu is 59.65% lower than its peak in October, it remains at the top of the list of the best performing cryptos of the year.
